According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's 2022 evaluation of drone demonstration support projects for local governments and drone companies, 9 local governments, including Incheon and Sejong, and 14 drone companies, including Ubify, were selected for the regulatory deferral system.

The "Drone Regulatory Sandbox Business" to support the commercialization and demonstration of excellent drone technologies will select 14 drone companies, including Ubify and Pablo, and support an empirical budget of up to 300 million won for each business operator.

The 14 drone companies are Ubipi, Pablo, Near Lab, Beomejin, Cheongju University Industry-Academic Cooperation Group, Infinite Information Technology, Hexa Factory, Hanaro TNS, Doosan DI, Cinarex, Maysa, Camtic Institute, Xdrone, and Narmada.

In particular, starting this year, it will provide up to two years of demonstration opportunities to enable more demonstration in various environments by utilizing drone products desired by consumers, while expanding various fields such as drone software (S/W), drone delivery, safety inspection, and drone leisure.

The drone regulation sandbox project aims to commercialize drone delivery between logistics centers in the city (Pavlo), develop fire fighting and lifesaving systems such as high-rise buildings (Cheongju University Industry-Academic Cooperation Group), establish domestic drone parachute standards (Nuclear Company Factory), localize drone core elements (flight control, power board, ground control system), and increase.
